To begin with, a warm jersey or sweater is always a good start! Thus, you will practically have almost two different outfits if you put this with the next best essential, a pair of jeans. Make sure you find a good pair of jeans that fits you well and that you feel comfortable in because you can practically wear anything with it and create many different looks with just the basics.

The Perfect Winter Bag!

Don't you just love this handbag from Forever New? I think it is the perfect winter handbag because of it's texture and woven fabric that gives a warm and cosy feeling. At the beginning of summer and winter, I try to throw out clothing that I haven't worn in the past year so that I can full it up with classical styles that won't go out of date.

Since, the Durban July is not that far away - just under 2 months away. It is not only just a good idea that you worry about getting your ticket to the greatest racing, fashion and entertainment extravaganza on the African Continent, but that  you start looking for what you are going to wear. If you haven't, of course already got someone designing you a masterpiece.

 

 

I love the simplicity and elegance that this outfit has to offer and I think it would be perfect for the Durban July. I would just add maybe a statement necklace piece along with simple plain studded earrings and a matching bracelet that ties it together. To complete the look, you could go for a black clutch purse or one that matches your jewellery (silver, gold or rose-gold) but preferably something that is not too busy so that it doesn't clash with your jewellery if that is going to be your statement piece. Dazzling Darling!

     

The Leopard Print Jacket is something that you can buy now and keep forever. I think that this outfit is perfect for a romantic dinner date at a more fancy restuarant. I would recommend Maximillien, Pigalle, The Maslow or Signature (all surrounding the Sandton area). To complete the outfit I would wear a plain black camisol underneath the jacket since it is already quite detailed so let that do all the talking.

Autumn Is Here!

If you thinking, what on earth do I wear because Autumn is here?

We certainly all go through the same struggle year after year when we confronted with those days where you wake up and it is overcast yet once you almost ready the sun starts to shine and you practically dressed like an eskimo. So it is definitely time that we start beating the weather for those not so hot or not so cold days.

 

One easy way to keep warm and stay cool at the same time is to have what I call a 'throwover'  because at least if you get too hot then you can simply just take it off and it is not  too big and bulky to carry around (see picture below).

 

Autumn can also be quite windy at times and I'm sure that you would not want to be left in a bad mood because you just not sure what to wear. I love these cape's as they can can be interchangeable with many outfit's and you can still look fashionable while keeping warm at the same time. Leaving you as happy as ever no matter the weather.

Date Night with the Girls {Outfit}

It's girls night out and you not exactly sure what to wear because you want to keep warm but still look good at the same time. When it comes to dressing up it all comes down to having the complete look. So don't you think that this would be the perfect nail colour to match the outfit? Not only do I love the nail colour for the outfit but the gelish nail polish will last you up to 2 to 3 weeks which definitely sounds pretty good, don't you think?. I would recommend Sorbet Nails because they really do a great job and you will certainly not leave there disappointed in anyway.

 

When I wear an outfit and everything just seems to match and go well together perfectly well, I really do feel like I have my life together and I am winning. Yay!!!! Lastly, I would wear this baby pink lipstick from MAC to add the final touch because what would a smile be without the perfect colour lipstick to complete it?
