Weekend Strawberries!

What are you getting up to this weekend? I saw strawberries like these one's and I thought it would be a good idea to make them for an evening dessert. Ladies, making these strawberries could also be a good idea for Valentine's Day to make for your loved one. If you anything like me, I am quite a creative person and I love making things but I am sure that your Valentine will also really appreciate it because it has more significant value that you made it yourself.

Valentine's Day {14 Feb}

It is Valentine's Day! What are your plans for today?

Since, my boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 7 years (May, 23) to be exact. We decided to do something a bit different and go to Ultra Festival 2015 which is contrary to the typical Valentine's Day that entails doing something that is more special and romantic with your loved one.

 

Whilst, we were at Ultra we just had to get a picture with these mini pink buckets that not only matched my outfit but it is what they served us a drink in. I ideally don't actually drink Redbull at all because of the supposed many unhealthy additives that it has but to my surprise a bit of vodka mixed with cranberry Redbull over loads of ice was actually really delicious and refreshing for  such a hot day in the sun.

Just because it is Valentine's Day and I was going to be at a Music Festival, doesn't mean that you still can't dress up for the occasion. Thus, in the spirit of Vallie Day I wore a baby pink jumpsuit top paired with a pair of denim jean shorts. To accessorize I went for all gold jewellery (i.e. my heart-shaped necklace and watch) along with a thin gold belt that ties in with the trimming of my clutch bag from Forever New and to finish off the look I wore gold strapped sandals. Forever New {Vallie Day}

Valentine's Day is fast approaching and many parents may have teenagers who will be attending a Valentine's Day Ball but are not exactly sure of what they should wear and what would be an age appropriate look?

I would suggest this simplistic coral pleated dress from Forever New because it is not detailed at all with embellishments which allows you to accessorize according to your personal preference. I think as a teenager although some may want big earrings and over extravegant jewellery, I would try keep it simple and wear these small floral studded earrings with your hair done up (perhaps in a plain/messy bun) otherwise if you decide to leave your hair down then you could wear a silver necklace piece that will still match your clutch purse. Lastly, to complete the look I would a pair of sandals/pumps that have a bit of a sparkle especially if you are going to dance the night away but If you would rather wear a small heel then I would go for white/silver heels that will tie your jewellery and clutch purse together. Make sure that whatever shoes you decide to wear that they are comfortable because there is nothing worse than getting blisters on your feet from uncomfortable shoes.

If you unsure of what to wear for Valentines Day, I would definitely recommend going into your nearest Forever New store to have a look because they have some of the most gorgeous dresses that really do bring out the true essence of this special occasion.

Victoria's Secret {Vallie Day}

February is certainly the month of love especially for those who have loved one's to share it with. However, deciding what to get and then buying the gift that is at the right price can be quite challenging for many. Here is a tip for you, men and I am sure that all the woman will agree with me that a gift from Victoria's Secret will be just perfect. Since, the Victoria's Secret store has recently landed in Johannesburg (Sandton City) we would all like to get our hands on something - well at least that would be true for me so hopefully by some chance my boyfriend will either see me typing this or look at my blog afterwards to get a hint.

 

If you do not get one of the many beautiful smelling fragrances (my favourite is the Victoria's Secret Night) then you can always buy some underwear like the one's below that are already packed in a heart-shape perfect for Valentine's Day.

Ladies, often shopping for men can come as a real challenge because they often don't give an extensive list of what they may want for specific occasions just like Valentines Day that is around the corner. I found this fragrance that is at Stuttafords that has a real fresh scent and smells absolutely amazing.
